Soeumoir’s founder and lead innovator Sophia hails from an optical engineering and clinical dermatology background. In 2022, Sophia decided to change gears and turn her energy towards Soeumoir, a collection of exceptional red light therapy masks. Focusing on clinical-grade technology, ergonomic design, craftsmanship, and sustainability, Soeumoir reflects the epitome of quality over quantity.

Sophia was highly inspired by the Light and Space art movement and the pioneers of photobiology. From James Turrell's immersive light installations to NASA's early LED healing research, she acquired a rationalist vision of design by gleaning how light served a healing and restorative purpose in a cleverly simple way. Soeumoir merges advanced optical science and minimalist aesthetics, creating functional light therapy masks made of skin-friendly and honest materials to rejuvenate people's skin and improve their lives in small but important ways.

Innovation being the key factor alongside aesthetic, Soeumoir has brought unexpected flexibility with smart details (such as medical-grade silicone contours and wireless freedom), high functionality, and a new luxury feel with a contemporary price point.

Seoul is where Soeumoir was born, the company's headquarters is now split between South Korea and France.
